Right-sided cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure at high altitude in zoo mammals
Characterized for the first time in zoo mammals pulmonary arterial disease due to high-altitude hypertension and complicated with right-sided cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure. This disease is similar to the subacute and chronic mountain sickness in humans and brisket disease of cattle living at high altitudes.
